Accessories

We offer installation and service on several after market and factory items in your vehicle today. When we install any after market unit into your car's electrical system we look at how the after market item will integrate with all of the factory systems. Some people use quick connectors or open connectors to complete their wiring. These connections are more prone to corrode, or physically fall apart. We make permanent "hard" connections with terminals, heat shrink, liquid electric tape (waterproof) and electrical tape. Some connections are soldered when required. This is all done to make sure the after market item operates properly with the factory systems. There is no stress placed on the factory system due to poor or improper connections. The result is a seamless installation that will last the life of your car with no breakdown of connections. We would never do it any other way. Alternators and Starters

At Ropat we rebuild most of the starters and alternators on today's popular cars. The reason we rebuild your unit instead of replacing it with a parts store unit is a two fold answer. When we rebuild a unit we make sure to take all the necessary little steps that we have developed over years of service to make sure the rebuild unit lasts as long as possible. We also want to make sure good parts go into the unit. A lifetime warranty is not worthwhile if the unit has cheap parts that fail every year. That is why we only use original equipment or factory improved parts. Top quality parts combined with top quality care insure the maximum life out of your remanufactured part.

Burn Ups

In the worst of situations, when all goes wrong, sometimes the car has a burn up.This may be a section of wiring that got too hot and melted together or an actual fire that burned the harness and other items. This could be caused by a malfunctioning component or electrical short that overloaded the circuit.
